Austin Peyton is an American actor whose journey began on the stages of community theaters in the Chicago suburbs, where he discovered the kind of storytelling that made him feel most at home. What started as a childhood pastime quickly evolved into a passionate pursuit, leading him to train at The Chicago Academy for the Arts, spend summers at Stagedoor Manor, and later earn his BFA in Acting from the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts). He continued refining his craft abroad at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London.

Austin’s film work continues to expand with the recently shot features A Fifth and a Friend by Jillian Spaeder’s Spilled Beans Prod., as well as Brief Candles. He has also starred in numerous short films including Why Can’t We All Get Along (from Bluestone Pictures), The Dinner Party (which earned him a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the 48 Hour Film Festival), as well as a number of other shorts.

On stage, Austin has taken on roles ranging from musical theatre to Shakespeare—including an IHSMTA-nominated performance as The Pirate King in The Pirates of Penzance, a Chicago Tribune–recognized turn as the Emcee in Cabaret, and classical roles in As You Like It, Twelfth Night, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. At CalArts, he portrayed the titular character in Everybody by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, a role that solidified his passion for truthful, character-driven work.

Beyond the stage and screen, Austin connects with an audience of over 2.3 million through his vibrant social media presence. He is fluent in Spanish and proud to be a member of the LGBTQ+ community.
